  • The LGBTQ Caucus debuted the latest version of "Transgender in the Workplace: A Guide for Municipalities" at the 2019 Annual Conference and Expo. The resource book contains information about road maps, best practices, and recent changes to laws and regulations regarding transgender individuals. The guide can be used as a tool to implement good public policy for current or future transgender and gender non-conforming employees.

  • A 2025 report from the California Department of Education: Supporting LGBTQ+ Students in California Schools: Findings and Recommendations of the SB 857 LGBTQ+ Statewide Advisory Task Force.

    Required by SB 857, authored by Senator John Laird and signed into law in 2023, this report reflects over 18 months of work by the SB 857 LGBTQ+ Statewide Advisory Task Force, convened by State Superintendent Tony Thurmond and made up of students, educators, administrators, mental health professionals, and community advocates from across California.
